last lesson we researched on our project and one perrson from a group wrote down what miss taught them
this lesson miss is doing the same thing and not teaching everyone in the class just one person form each group while we do our journals
we are also working on how our prtoject wil be presented
this lesson we had a traditional class where the teacher teaces everyone in the class while we sit down and do a work booklet on the periodic table. the lesson was very benefical and helped us to get on the right track again.
Evaluation: science project one
1. would you make any changes/improvements to your project. what?
yes, i would. the improvement i would make next time round i will be alot more organised and make use of the tools we have been given i.e. using the pacing chart and calendar. if i had used these in this oproject and stuck to it i think i wouldve completed my project earlier and i wouldnt have had to try and finnish it nights before it was due.
another improvement i would make would be the amount of communication i have with the person that is being taught by the tacher in the group.
2. what was your favourite project? why?
my favorite project was john lahoud and george batours group. i enjoyed it and found it interesting more than anyone elses because of the way they presented their information e.g. the questionare recording that they did was infromative and relevent and also made me laugh, which i think is the key to to getting the audiences full attention.
they alsop used powerpoint which was mainly the most informative part of the project and i think powerpoint was the ideal tool to use to present it.
3. how could youy improve on yourt presentation skills for the next project?
i think our oral presentation was great (loud voices that can be heard anywhere in the room) and our powerpoint presentaion was pretty ideal for presenting the information in the way we planned on. However i think it could’ve been more attractive if we used a program like movie maker or imovie.
4. who in your opinion had good presentation skills?
i think john lahoud had very good presentation skills because he made the presentation interesting and he spoke loud and clearly.
